Every field type explained

Available on every plan

• Short text, Long text (textarea) — free-form answers.
• Email, Phone, Number, URL — validated automatically for the right format.
• Dropdown, Radio, Checkbox — choice questions. Radio allows one answer, checkbox allows several.
• Rating — a star rating, 1 to 5 by default.
• Scale — a numbered scale, 1 to 10 by default. Good for NPS-style questions.
• Date, Time — pickers rather than free text, so answers stay consistent.
• Heading, Paragraph, Divider, Page break — layout elements that structure long forms.

Pro plan fields

• Full name — first and last name captured as one tidy field.
• Address — multi-line address with city, state and postcode.
• Signature — respondents draw a signature with a mouse or finger.

Business plan fields

• File upload — respondents attach documents or images.
• Payment — collect money before the response is recorded.
