Closing a form or setting a deadline
Stop accepting responses manually, or automatically at a date and time.
Close a form manually
Open the form and click Close. The link keeps working but visitors see your closing message instead of the fields. Reopen at any time by clicking Publish.
Close automatically at a deadline
In the form's settings, set a Closes at date and time. This is ideal for event registrations and applications.
- A countdown banner appears on the form as the deadline approaches.
- The moment the deadline passes, submissions stop — no action needed from you.
Custom closing message
Write your own message so people know what happened and what to do next — for example 'Registrations closed on 30 September. Email us to join the waitlist.'
